We here at Lit Carnivale are always seeking opportunities to promote books and reading, which means providing advertising opportunities to other creatives. We hope you’ll take advantage of this offering and help spread the word of how special literarcy and books really are. Promote a book, a bookish event, a creative service, or even give a loved one a shout-out. (Firs come, first served.)

Be a Community Supporter

We here at Lit Carnivale love advocating for people to read more. We feel the best way to do that is by sharing positive and engaging stories and experiences about books and the joy of reading. We are seeking booklovers who want to share their experiences with us and our community, and who wouldn’t mind gaining some bookish prizes. (Must qualify to participate.)

What Readers Really Want

Not all great storytellers are published and that’s ok. Still, we are seeking writers who truly aspire to share their words and stories with the world. If you’re currently on a path to publication, whether traditional, independent, or hybrid, we’d love to help spread the word about your emergence, whether it’s a week away or more than a year. Come share your story with us. (Must qualify to participate.)

Aspiring Writers in the Know

Toi Thomas created the Read All Over Show for the Lit Carnivale community so she would have an excuse to talk to authors from all over the world and then share what those conversations are like. We hope that authors from around the world will give the Read All Over Show a chance. (Firs come, first served, for now.)

Read All Over Show

Toi Thomas created the Read Local Show for the Lit Carnivale community so she could showcase the amazing literary talents of authors from her hometown. Toi never ceases to be impressed by the creativity of her neighbors and hopes that sharing her conversations with these authors will contribute to the long-lasting literary tradition in the Coastal Virginia, Hampton Roads, and Tidewater area. (Firs come, first served, for now.)

Read Local Show

If you read one book for pleasure in a year, that’s one book more than the average citizen of The United States. Toi doesn’t care how much you read or what you read, she simply wants people to not take their literacy for granted. Her wish is for more people to recognise reading as a valid form of entertainment, a creative and expressive outlet, an information gathering process, and so much more.
